Content Correction Fee
Let you know that you expressed concern about your article during the proofreading. It was mentioned in point no. 2 that “If you suggest a correction after publishing your article, a content update fee will apply.” Now, the metadata of the article has been locked. Therefore, a content correction fee will be required to enable the article’s metadata.
Authors can process the Content Correction Fee through multiple methods. In case of a failure with one method, alternate methods can be utilized. The Content Correction Fee can be handled by an authorized representative (or third party) on behalf of the author, regardless of their geographic location.
- Payment Gateway by using Credit/ Debit Card: The authors have the option to process their Content Correction Fee through the payment gateways of PayPal or 2CO. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their debit/credit cards are activated for both national and international transactions. In the case of overseas authors, The Content Correction Fee can be handled by a third-party on behalf of the author, regardless of their geographic location. it is recommended to check with their respective banks whether they accept international transactions or not, to avoid any payment failure.
- UPI Transaction through QR Code: Scholarly authors now have the option of utilizing the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) to handle their Content Correction Fee via digital wallet services like PhonePe, Paytm, Google Pay, or other similar platforms. This service is enabled through the scanning of a QR code but is only available in countries where this feature is supported.
- Wired Transaction (Swift Transaction): To process the Content Correction Fee, authors can make use of wired transactions. To do so, they need to get in touch with their bank and provide them with a few details, including an acceptance letter, photo ID proof, and the journal bank account details. The journal’s banking details can be easily found on the journal’s website.
- Western Union: To facilitate the Content Correction Fee, authors can make use of Western Union transactions in the designated account. However, it is important to note that the transactions should not be processed for cash and must be directed to the journal account.
- NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, Cash Deposit in the account: For authors looking to facilitate their Content Correction Fee, payment can be made through various methods such as NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, or cash deposit in the given account number, provided that their country supports it.
